プラサート・スープラ塔 (Prasat Sour Prat)

アンコール・トムの中心、像のテラスの正面には、12の塔（プラサート・スープラ）があります。それらは、日本国政府アンコール遺跡救済チーム（JSA:Japanese Government Team for Safeguarding Angkor）によって、10年半の年月をかけて、解体・修復工事が行われ、2005年に復元されました。参加団体・企業は、早稲田大学、鴻池組、間組、APSARA、名古屋工業大学、南山大学など多数です。
The west side of Angkor Thom's Royal Plaza is bordered by the majestic Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, and the est side is bordered by Prasat Sour Prat, a group of twelve three-story laterite towers and terraces. JSA devoted efforts to conductiong measurement surveys, excavations, and restoraion work at Prasat Sour Prat for aperiod of ten and a half years from the beginning of the project until its sompletion 2005.
