The sports complex contains an indoor stadium seating 8,000, an outdoor stadium seating 70,000, a swimming complex seating 4,000, eight tennis courts, and 16 out door sporting fields.
The main facilities were arranged line-symmetrically along the axis, with the main approach on the west side. All of these operations are contemporary applications of organizing principles from Angkor Wat.
The three facilities aligned along the axis ー indoor stadium, outdoor stadium, and swimming complex ー each have their own character but also form part of the sequence centered on the outdoor stadium. Specifically, the stepwise rear side of the indoor stadium is part of the stands of the outdoor stadium, and the roof of the swimming complex overlaps the east end of the outdoor stadium.
