I love Japan's four seasons.

Last winter had been much colder than the winter last year I think. But it has been spring though! And it is much warmer. But be careful about health. Because a Cambodian has caught Influenza in Toyohashi. I hope everyone stayed activity and healthy in the changing season. If you stay in Japan for over one full year, you can experience all of Japn's seasons. While you can have the same seasons in part of other country, the way we enjoy each one is different. They are all interesting in its their ways, and you can find your favorite activities to do in each season in Japan.
In the wintertime, my favorite activity is going to the hot spring. While you can do this all year, winter is the nicest time to go. Getting into the hot water feels SO good! So it's a real treat. Last winter I went to ones are three place. You don't have public baths like this where you live in, so you mabey surprise at first time.
In this spring, the cherry blossoms(SAKURA) have started to bloom, and everywhere of Japan are at its beautiful. Some women love dressing up in Kimono(Japanese dress) and going out for Hanami(to watch the floower of SAKURA) in this season. Last week, I and my mother went to Kiyomizu-temple(Kyoto city) to look at the trees. In the place, many parson wore Kimono. I seemed it was lots of fun. Where you live in, you don't have the cherry trees, but you wish you could do in here!
Summer time is the time of year for lots of festivals. I love attending the many different Maturi(festivals) all over Japan. Wearing Yukata(Japanese dress), eating candied apples and Takoyaki(Japanese food), and watching fireworks are some of the most fun things to do in the summer. It's terribly hot, but it means you can go swimming. To go swimming is something you do in too, but there you swim in the river. Here is Japan, you go to the Pacific Ocean. It's not a lot warmer than the water at your country.
In autumn I go to watch the leaves change color and hike through the mountains. In Japan, you can enjoy climbing when the leaves tured colors. The season it has many delicious foods. Persimmons and sweet potatoes are in season. You maybe have never had a persimmon in your country, but I think you love them! Because Thyda like them.
Japan is beautiful all year long, and you can feel you are very happy to have spent this time finding fun ways to enjoy each one. Even in the winter cold, Japan is a lovely place to be!

It's my life

Befor I wrote about my motercycle. This is a continuance of the story.
My motorcycle stole two years ago. Now, when I want to go somewhere, How do I go? My transportation way is by a bicycle. I like it, too. So I can go to everywhere, and I live a life without a problem really. robably I like a two-wheeled vehicle like motorcycles or bicycles. If I want to go to another city, I always use railways. The way till near by the station is only 15 minute by bicycle. When I want to buy something, I go to a huge shopping center JUSCO that takes 10 minute from TUT by bicycle.

Therefore I can buy every thing. But before it, there are a general store, a bookstore, a cafeteria and a students' dining hall inside TUT site. Furthermore, there is a convenience store in front of TUT. Therefore by these, I don’t have any problem with shopping in particular.

Incidentally I say about my eating habits, in the morning I buy sweet bun at the convenience store, at noon I eat a set meal in a cafeteria, and at night I eat a set meal in a students' dining hall.

What do you think?

One day I want to have my construction company in Khmer. And I want to get fame in proportion to mine success. Finally I aim at becoming Japan and Cambodian of go-between. It is necessary for it that beard the lion in his den. Because it means overseas emigration for me. For Japanese, it is a bold determination to emigrate from Japan to Cambodia. Perhaps I will decide about ten years later, but already now, I want to carry it out with considerable probability.


Why I have had such the thing. First the reason, this country has had potential. When I went to Khmer in 2006, I was shocked about Khmer economic growth in Phnom Penh with my eyes. Therefore a new building and bridge were built frequently, and I seemed the city was changing in sequence. And then I thought my simple idea. This country will need technology and ability for construction in the future. If I will fasten down and will bring the Japanese know-how into this country, I may am able to increase achievements effectively.

Second the reason. But I cannot talk about this reason.

When these two reasons put together, I will get a good chance. This is a terrific thing.

So I hope to enter a construction company of Japan as the execution management, because I want to move through sure avenue to success. But in my case, the examination for employment begins in February. I will take many interviews from this month, and maybe I will be able to know my company in April. But the company which I hope for is only famous companies. For example, TAISEI Corporation: the company built “KIZUNA-bridge” at Mekong in 2002, OBAYASHI Corporation: the company built “CHRUOV CHANGVAR-bridge” in north-east of Phnom Penh city. Probably I enter such a company in 2009 April. And during 3 years or 5 years I will work in the domestic place. But meanwhile I will not be able to settle down. Because my occupation must be it: I will go to the construction site of each place nationwide by the order of the company every a year. This is really hard work. But, on the other hand, the salary is high. And I already have decided to convey a wish to make use of my experience in the future. It’s overseas assignment. I want to work in Southeast Asia from entering a company the third year or the fifth year.
It will continue overseas assignment till I make a company with my friend in Khmer. These are my plan. But about the future, nobody can reliably predict. These are my hope to the last. What do you think?

How about international marriage?

Every Cambodian of my university ask me one time every month.

"Will you marry a Cambodian?"

Now, pssibly NO!

But , I never can tell what will do in the future.

It's a nice idea i marry a Cambodian.

But at first, i have to find out my partner.

Still I can't believe Cambodian marry when they are young.

It isn't doing very well.

So,the cambodian average age of marriage is different from a Japanese.

私の年越しは、カンボジア人と私の2人で、シャンパンをあけて乾杯しました。

もちろん、初詣も済ませましたよ。
インドネシア人と私の2人で、豊川稲荷に行きました。
すごい人で、お参りするのに、30分間、並んで待たなければなりませんでした。

今日は、カンボジア人3人と私とでユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパン（ＵＳＪ）に行って来ます。

年越しパーティ（名古屋）には、行けない！

明日、１２月３１日から来年１月１日にかけて、名古屋でカンボジア人留学生達の年越しパーティがあります。
私も、ぜひ参加したかったのですが、残念ながら、３１日にバイトがあって行けません。
この日にバイトを入れたことが、とても、とても、心残りです。
皆さん、楽しんできて下さい。

私は、この豊橋で、RinboとThydaと一緒に、年越しをします。

A Snowy Christmas Eve

Today, it is not snowy in Toyohashi Japan.
But, do you want to see snow fall down?
In my country located near very cold area.
And a lot of snow falls.
Can you image snowy touch and falling scenery?
The snow is like cotton softly, and besides, it is very totally cold
And when you touch the snow, it melts immediately by your warmth.
Strangely, it gradually disappears in your hands.
In addition, snow falls calmly, because the snow takes in sounds.
I like the night that it is fell snow and is flowed moonlight into it.
It is the world that can calm down where snow reflects moonlight, and it hears no sound.
It is right scenery of the winter.
I think the nature is the thing not only seeing but also feeling.

But to tell the truth, in my living place, snow does not fall a little.
In winter (January), the temperature of this place Toyohashi is low temperature -3 degrees, high temperature 7 degrees.
With the temperature like this, the snow does not fall.
In the days of my elementary school, it sometimes snowed in winter.
Perhaps it is the influence of the global warming.

But don’t worry.
If you go to north 100km from the place, you can see a lot of snow.
Therefore you can do the skiing.
What do you feel?

By the way, recently the temperature of Toyohashi is low temperature 6 degrees, high temperature 13 degrees.
It is slightly cold.

気を許してしまった！

今まで、日本人には秘密だった、俺の夢をしゃべってしまった。
酒と八○先生の勢いのせいだ。

今日は、俺の出身校、○石高専建築学科出身でＴＵＴにいる人間８人＋○石高専の先生で、懇談会をした。
やはり、地元出身の者とは、気が緩む傾向があるから、「しゃべらないでおこう」と決めていたことも、言ってしまったよ。

なぜ、言うとだめなのかと言うと、その夢が実現しなかった場合に、「あの時、あんなに言っていたのに、全然ちがうじゃん、うそばっかり」と思われるのが嫌だからだ。

しゃべってしまうと、それがプッレシャーとなり、なんか、強制的にそれを実現しなければ、ならない雰囲気になってしまった。
やばいぞ、これは！
後戻りが、徐々にできなくなっている・・・
まるで、「深夜特急」のはじまりのように、日本を追い出される！！！

気が弱い

今日は、うちの大学の英語コース入学者の歓迎パーティがあった。毎年１２月に多くの留学生たちが英語コースで入ってくる。今年の留学生は、30人くらいかな～？パーティは、チューターや以前から来日している留学生や国際交流課の職員を含めて、70人くらいは参加して、それはすごかった。
もちろん、俺も参加した。だって、俺は、インドネシア人とドイツ人のチューターをしているからだ。パーティには、日本語コースのカンボジア人も来ていて、なかなかいい雰囲気だった。

だが、とても残念なことがある。

３日前に来日したという、超カワイイ、ベトナム人の女の子がいたのだが、その子とまったく話せなかった！！！！！

何度も話そうと、彼女を取り囲んでいる男共や、知り合いになった別のベトナム人と話しながら、徐々に彼女に近付いていったのだが、肝心のその女の子とは、一度も話すことができなった。

私は、ショックでショックで、今日はとても心残りなのですよ。

About Cambodia

Why could I become to like Cambodia?
Because I felt to be attract many things of Cambodia.
Above all, Cambodian people are very kind.
I like character of Cambodian and I am compatible with a part of Cambodian.
Do you think so?

I went to Cambodia from 2006 August 3 to 2006 August 21.
I have a friend of Cambodia.
So I stayed his house in Kandal and his uncle’s house in Phnom Penh during 3 weeks.
It was excited travel for me.
Many Moto, many people and many under construction buildings.
I was surprised to look at Phnom Penh about vigor of the capital city.
All the time, the city has been changed by economic.
I directly felt Cambodian Economic growth power.
I dreamed of my future at Cambodian Economic growth.
So I became to like Cambodia.
How do you think about Phnom Penh?

When I did Cambodia trip, I went to city that is Phnom Penh, Kandal, Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Kep, Kampot.
Of course, many remain are too interesting, but I was attract Siem Reap development.
I think that Kandal and Kampong Cham are countryside.
Kep and Kampot are located near sea.
I think they are good sites, because we could enjoy very good scenery.

I went to a lot of place, and I met kind people at all place.
I think Cambodian have a good character of mind.

By the way, which do you like a big city or countryside?
I like a big city like Phnom Penh than countryside.
Because there are many shopping center, a lot of foods, many goods, many fashionable clothes, cool music, ultramodern architecture and crowd.
I can enjoy every time and everywhere.

カンボジアの研究

どうやら、2002,3年以降、カンボジア建築を対象とした研究室が増えてきてるようである。そして、その成果と蓄積が出始め、研究室ごとに格差ができ始めている。これは、非常にまずいことで、我が研究室も遅れをとる前に、すぐ行動すべきである。だが、まず人員がいない。やはり、研究をするにあって、有能な人間は、必須である。私を含め、英語ができない人間ばかりなので、話にならにのである。これでは、近畿大学理工学部建築学科都市計画研究室や早稲田大学に、永遠に追いつくことができない。
どうすればいいだ～
でも、来年、カンボジアの建築を取り扱った調査をすることが決まっている。なんとか、そこで、挽回しよう！
